With full transparency and truth,
we can build a better world for our children.

Stand for Truth

My legal name is Chloe Hill.
But you can call me: Phoenix.
If titles matter to you, I'm a graduate of Barnard College and the Tulane University School of Social Work. I've specialized in the treatment of psychological trauma both in graduate school and throughout my professional career. I'm also a writer and artist.
But none of those titles mean as much to me as Mother. And no accomplishment compares to survival.
I have died and risen countless times through rituals most would call unthinkable, at the hands of those who claimed to love me: family, friends, classmates, and lovers. Since healing enough to remember, I've reclaimed the right to name myself.
And I choose Sophia Rose Phoenix, Phoenix for short.
